Microcontroller laboratory helps the students to develop their knowledge on processor architecture and the programming skills. This laboratory houses the hardware which includes 8051 Microcontroller trainer kits, interfacing cards and software Keil-51. This laboratory provides hand-on experience to interface I/O devices, perform A/D and D/A conversions, etc.
The Electrical Circuits Laboratory is designed to provide the student with the knowledge to use basic measuring instruments and techniques with proficiency..
- To gain proficiency in the use of common measuring instruments.
- To enhance understanding of basic electric circuit analysis concepts including: Independent sources. Passive circuit components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, and switches).
- To provide in depth knowledge of modern design in lift control and conveyer control by using PLC kits and also perform the basic logic gates and TIMER, COUNTER circuits.
- To provide the knowledge of modulation technics like PAM & PCM and also studying about T, Pi attenuators.
- To test and simulate the AM and FM modulation, demodulation by using multisim software
The Advanced Communication Laboratory covers design and verification of the concepts of modern digital communication systems that operates from MHz-GHz range. The lab include experiments on applications of Digital coding and digital modulation techniques, Fiber Optic Communication. This lab is equipped with Digital storage Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Modules for Digital Modulation and Demodulation techniques and Power Supply units. To enhance precise measurement and observe waveform with better clarity Digital Storage Oscilloscopes are used. The Microwave test benches are used to conduct experiments in GHz frequency range. Various digital coding and modulation kits are used apart from discrete components to demonstrate the basic concepts involved in digital communication. An OFT kit is used to demonstrate communication and multiplexing through Light wave.
